If you're curious about whisky, our group tastings are a great way to get together. Whether you're celebrating an occasion with family, friends or colleagues, or simply keen to explore the world of whisky, our tasting flights are designed for everyone from the novice to the seasoned enthusiast. Once you've arrived, one of our passionate team will guide you through the three whiskies on tasting. Should libations not be met, our bar menu has incredible cocktails, low or non-alcoholic options and everything you’d expect from an award winning Melbourne bar.

AVAILABILITY

Friday – 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 8pm

Saturday – 7pm and 8pm

All other times - Whisky & Alement is open 7 days from 4pm and also offers customised whisky flights, however bookings are unavailable during these quieter times.

Less than 6 guests? Whisky flights are available for walk-ins at both Whisky & Alement and Melbourne Whisky Room during standard trading hours. More than 14 guests? Please email brooke@whiskyandale.com.au to check availability 

WHISKY SELECTION

Whisky flights include three whiskies selected by our bar team. Whisky flights change weekly. To request a theme or flavour profile please note your preference in the specified field when booking. Examples of whisky themes include 'Unusual cask finishes', 'Award-winning Asian whisky', 'A tour of Scotland', 'Single cask whiskies' and 'Up and coming Australian distilleries'. Examples of whisky flavour profiles include Rich fruit, Honey & Malt, Savoury, Tropical fruits, Vanilla, Barnyard, Peaty and Smoky.

BAR NIBBLES

We recommend ordering food in advance to avoid delays when you arrive.

DISABLED ACCESS: Please note that the tasting room is located on level 1 and accessible only via stairs. If you are unable to climb stairs, it may be possible to move the tasting to a wheelchair accessible venue located on the ground level.  Please ensure you request disabled access when confirming your booking.
