Waterford Whisky at the Cinema: Screening 'Belfast'

From AUD $80.00
  • Duration: 3 Hours (approx.)
  • Location: Melbourne, VIC
  • Product code: P6AQ35

After a long hiatus, Whisky at the cinema returns! You're invited to an evening at the Kino Palace Cinemas, to share in some amazing Irish whisky and cinema. One welcome dram and two drams during the movie are all included in your ticket price.

For this years cinema event, Whisky & Alement will be screening Belfast. The film chronicles the life of a working class Northern Irish family from the perspective of their 9 year old son Buddy during The Troubles in Belfast, Northern Ireland. An autobiographical work based on director Kenneth Branaghs childhood, the movie has been touted as his most personal, emotional, and perhaps finest work as a filmmaker.

As for the liquid, you will receive 3 x 30ml of Waterfords latest whiskies, expressions which we have directly imported ourselves and are unavailable otherwise in Australia. A pour of each of these whiskies over the bar would be $70, so add a beer and movie ticket to that and we'll call it $80!

Waterford Distillery, founded by ex-Bruichladdich CEO Mark Rayner, is barley-forward and terroir driven. Sourcing barley from 72 different farms, with 19 different soil types, Waterford has already achieved Irelands first certified organic single malt, and first biodynamic barley made whisky.

The whiskies pictured do not depict the lineup, read on for the lineup below.

Included:

  • 1x 30ml Waterford Biodynamic Luna 1.1 - 50%
