Glengoyne & Tamdhu with International Brand Ambassador Gordon Dundas

From AUD $50.00
  • Duration: 90 Minutes (approx.)
  • Location: Melbourne, VIC
  • Product code: PKDPWF

Whisky & Alement is proud to host Gordon Dundas - International Brand Ambassador for Ian Macleod Distillers - for the Australian launch of the new Tamdhu 18 year old and Tamdhu Distinction.

A proud Keeper of the Quaich, Gordon is flying in from Scotland to join us in person for the first time in his current role, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience having travelled the world for over a decade to tell the story of single malt Scotch.

Gordon will lead us through a tasting of three single malts from Tamdhu, a classic Speyside distillery continuing to grow and change since being taken over by Ian Macleod in 2011 after being shuttered for 3 years. Tamdhu's newly released 18 year old expression is made up entirely of pre-shutdown whiskies laid down when the distillery was under the Edrington banner. We'll also taste three drams from Glengoyne, a distillery at the forefront of sustainable production in Scotland and the first to employ a living wetland system to treat 100% of their liquid waste.

As always with visitors from Scotland, it's sure to be an evening full of laughs, great drams and great yarns!
