Whisky & Alement and The Scotch Malt Whisky Society present: Old Pulteney
- Duration: 90 Minutes (approx.)
- Location: Melbourne, VIC
- Product code: PPQ0BR
Join Alex Moores of The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, and W&A's Julian White in an evening of Old Pulteney, from the Whisky & Alement cellar.
Old Pulteney Distillery rests at the heart of its hometown, Wick, in the Scottish highlands. The spirit of the towns seafaring past lives on in the form of Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky - long renowned as 'The Maritime Malt', and with a history stretching back to 1826.
The unique bottle design of Old Pulteney reflects the shape of their equally as unique stills. The wash still sports a massive boil bulb (almost as large as the base of the still!), and their spirits still operates with a purifier pipe and a very elaborate, coiling lyne arm. Join us downstairs at Whisky & Alement on May 10 to dissect and discover everything you need to know about this Highland Scottish distillery.
