Whisky & Alement are very lucky to have been granted access to some eye-watering museum stock from the most world-renowned, heavily awarded Tasmanian distillery there is. Sullivans Cove. These events will see us host unrepeatable lineups of Sullivans Cove single malt, presented by all-rounder, Sullivans Cove Brand Manager Fred Siggins.

We at Whisky & Alement are delighted to be able to offer such a rare perspective. From the first cask filled under the ownership of Pat Maguire, to the modern-day Special Casks of 2020. Taste and learn about the progression of this legendary Tasmanian distillery. The focus for this evening? American Oak.

Join Fred Siggins - and expect a cameo from head distiller, Heather Tillott - as we look back, through the liquid, at the distillery that put Australian whisky on the worldwide radar in 2014 when Sullivans Cove was crowned Worlds Best Single Malt (little did they know, it wouldn't be the first time!).

• 15ml x Sullivans Cove Millennium Gold - A very old bottling, of very young Sullivans Cove! Released in the year 2000, aged in 300L uncharred virgin American oak. 40% ABV 
• 15ml x Sullivans Cove American Oak Cask Strength - From about 10 years ago, when Sullivans Cove was still doing cask strength bottlings! 60% ABV 
• 15ml x Sullivans Cove American Oak Single Cask TD0001 - The first ever cask filled in 2004 when Pat Maguire took over the distillery. Bottled in 2017. 47.5% ABV
• 15ml x Sullivans Cove Modern American Oak Single Bourbon Cask - Sullivans Cove standard age and style of TD-era ex-bourbon single cask. 47.5% ABV
• 15ml x Sullivans Cove Special Cask 7th Edition - Distillery only release of a single American oak ex-Apera cask from earlier this year. - 45.8% ABV
• 30ml x Sullivans Cove American Oak Refill - The original virgin oak casks decanted, charred and filled again with new make. Aged 14 years, released earlier this year. - 47.1% ABV
