After much experimentation with the likes of kangaroo grass, spinifex and saltbush seed, distiller Sacha La Forgia has created the first Native Grain Whiskey at his Adelaide Hills Distillery. Forged from a mash of malted barley and sustainably sourced wattle seeds, the Native Grain 'Project' was winning awards while still in its infancy. Now, Sacha has just released the first fully-matured Native Grain Whiskey in an extremely limited run of 142 bottles. This promises to be one of Australia's most groundbreaking releases, and we're thrilled that Sacha will be joining us to talk about his fresh perspective on what Australian whisky can be.
