Guid gear comes in sma' bulk!

The Scottish phrase translates to "all good things come in small packages" and they weren't wrong when talking about a wee dram! Over centuries, the Scots have turned the humble glass of whisky into a global phenomenon. Distilled, blended, matured, perfected, Scottish whisky is today in such high demand it has inspired hundreds of distilleries to pop up around the world.

Join Whisky & Alement Owner Julian White as we delve into the story of Scotch whisky distilleries and the people behind them that have both inspired and directly influenced the new world distillery boom. From the late Doctor Jim Swan who consulted on new distilleries in Scotland, Israel, Taiwan, India and the USA, to the new wave of Scottish distilleries. We invite you to taste the difference between new and old world single malt whiskies. A fun night of mouth watering whisky, discussion and anecdotes, perfect for both the novice and seasoned whisky drinker.

Includes:

  • 6 x 15ml single malt whiskies
  • Light snacks (we recommend eating before or after the tasting)
