  • Duration: 120 Minutes (approx.)
  • Location: Melbourne, VIC

For those wanting to learn more about the sensational stories behind American whiskey – strap yourselves in. Ride through the American central mid-west to reveal the origins of rye and bourbon whiskey; we then dissect the most baffling of human experiments – prohibition and the near death of the whisky industry.

Since prohibition American whiskey has boomed once again, and now thousands of distilleries are offering their whiskies all over the world. The growth projections are off the charts, pushing producers to find new ways to make their whisky speak more and more about the region from which they're made. With more twists than a worm tub, and more turns than the Mississippi, this entertaining class will give you a memorable tour of one of the world’s greatest whiskey nations; and leave you armed with the knowledge to navigate the American shelves at your local bar or bottle shop.
