SOLD OUT: An Evening with Glenfarclas Global Ambassador Ian McWilliam

- Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Melbourne, VIC
- Product code: PXY0D9
The Glenfarclas Family cask collection encapsulates the essential character of the distillery with each bottle containing its own unique story of the time from which it was distilled and filled into cask. Glenfarclas is known for its excellent quality of sherry cask maturation, so on top of the core range, we've selected three special Family casks, each matured in a sherry butt to bring you a true taste of Glenfarclas.
Ian McWilliam, friend of Whisky & Alement for over 10 years now, returns to Melbourne to share what's not changed at Glenfarclas distillery.
The evolution of the whisky world can happen in two distinct ways. The first sees distilleries actively change distillation regimes, cask types and ageing schedules, and the second allows natural development through the evolution of sherry cask supply or barley types and cooperage advancements. Glenfarclas distillery is gifted with a micro climate that allows arguably the longest maturation in the industry, so allowing decades of natural evolution to do their work is the best recipe for success.
This is a special lineup and Ian's insight is one of the most valued in the industry! Join us for one of our favourite events of the year, as we welcome Ian back during his annual tour of Australia.
