The Glendronach 'Ode to' limited releases with Linus Schaxmann

- Duration: 2 Hours (approx.)
- Location: Melbourne, VIC
- Product code: PC5T00
The GlenDronach has instant association with whisky lovers as being "the go to" sherry cask matured whisky. The distillery has long devoted itself to maturing majority of it's whiskies in Spanish sherry casks as the heavy spirit style lends itself to big bold flavours. But, not all sherry casks are created equal and sourcing the best over the last decade has become much more difficult for the expanding category. The GlenDronach signature sherried style continues to evolve with 200 years of technique to guide the latest advancements in maturation.
Ode to the Valley pays homage to the sherry cask legacy while exploring the closely related flavours of Port casks from the Douro Valley in Portugal. As the trio of Ode's continue, flavours richen and the mood darkens. We'll conclude the evening with a decadent 28 year old single cask that will be sure to impress.
Linus Schaxmann, The GlenDronach national brand ambassador and consummate industry legend brings a wide knowledge of more than just the Scotch industry to Whisky & Alement for what will be a wonderful night with some new drams to hand.
