Roe & Co Irish Whiskey revives the brand of George Roe & Co, Ireland's largest whiskey exporter in the 19th century. With the world's largest spirits company behind them, Diageo has reopened the once grand distillery at the foot of the Guinness factory in the heart of the Dublin Liberties, a once bustling hub of whiskey production. Doors to the distillery opened only month's ago.
Melbourne bartending alumni (ex-Whisky and Alement), Irishman Alan Mulvihill returns in his role as European Brand Ambassador for the newly opened Roe & Co Irish Whiskey Distillery. To celebrate the return of this local legend, and the launch of Ireland's newest whiskey distillery, we're inviting you to possibly Melbourne's smallest whiskey tasting. Join us Thursday 8th August and enjoy a unique perspective direct from the distillery. Includes a mystery 'What's in Al's Bag?' dram (you know it'll be great!), only on pour at this Whisky & Alement exclusive event.
